Recent Additions to the BPI® Color Family

Several new tints have recently been added to the large BPI® tint family. These include

BPI® Mocha™ (34702): A light to medium honey brown.

BPI® FL-41™ (37616): A rose colored tint which independent researchers have found to be beneficial in treating photophobia, blepharospasm (uncontrollable blinking) and migraines by blocking portions of the blue-green spectrum.

BPI® Amber™ (20601): A honey shade of amber.

BPI® Drivers™ (37627): A brownish shade of amber that passes traffic light colors.

BPI® Melanin™ (37617): A yellowish-brown tint which mimics the absorption spectrum of natural melanin. This color reduces the destructive high-energy side of the visible spectrum while allowing enough blue light to provide natural perception of color.

Have you tried these yet? How did they work out for you?

Hello Judy,

Proper disposal of the heat transfer fluid from your tint machine depends on the type of fluid (BPI HTF-90 or BPI GL-77) and your location. BPI HTF-90 is a glycol type material derived from natural gas. In small quantities, it may be disposed to sewer in many locales. BPI GL-77 is glycerine based (a sugar substitute) and may be disposed to sewer in most locales.

We will ask your local sewer authorities (leaving your name out of it if possible) whether the material that you are using may be disposed to sewer in your town, but please get their name and telephone number before contacting us (1-800-327-2250).

In the event that sewer disposal is undesirable, the waste material can usually be adsorbed onto "kitty litter" and disposed as a solid waste to a licensed land-fill.
